“One of the things I like about working for EIM is that I get to connect with people all over the United States and all over the world,” says Stacey Caouette, our Customer Service Supervisor. “We don’t have a typical day, every day is different—and that’s one of the things I like about my job. Every order is a little bit different and unique.”
After all, it’s not every day you help label caskets amidst a flood. You wouldn’t think a natural disaster area would have much concern about labeling things—but one of Stacey’s jobs in 2016 was to arrange shipping tags and EnduraLabels to a customer dealing with displaced caskets due to a hurricane and flood.
EIM’s small business mindset allows Stacey a lot of freedom in her customer service role. “It’s a nice change of pace to come to this kind of environment where you can do whatever you need to do to help your customer,” Stacey says. “I don’t need to go through a lot of hoops in order to help people.”
But we aren’t all work all the time here at EIM! “I like it here because it’s a family owned company—the flexibility and the people that work here are awesome,” Stacey says. A big contribution to our fun times? As our resident lifelong bowler, Stacey has been known to recruit her fellow employees to participate on her local bowling team.
Outside of work, Stacey makes time to hang out with her grandson and other family members regularly. A recent big change in her life? “I just got married this summer.” Having a new partner is influencing other parts of Stacey’s life too. “I’m doing new things now, because of my husband.
You can add fishing, gardening, and camping to the list of things Stacey is up to outside of work now! “It’s fun—I’m not usually an outdoorsy person—attempting to do new things at my age is kind of cool.”
