Community Involvement

Dedicated Community Involvement is one of our core values here at EIM and a major part of our company culture. The Label Experts know how important a strong and supportive community is to our employees and our business.

We are passionate about creating a welcoming environment for everyone in the Monadnock Region we call home. We do this financially and personally, lending a helping hand where it’s needed most.
Some of our Label Experts serve on local boards for non-profits, some serve in EIM’s Philanthropy Committee. And every Label Expert has one paid workday a year to volunteer at their personally chosen non-profit.

Philanthropic Endeavors: Lending a Helping Hand in Our Community
Some programs we have regularly supported include our local Lions Walk for Sight & Diabetes, Pathways for Keene’s Annual 4 on the 4th Road Race and Monadnock Developmental Services’ Annual Run, Walk, Smile.
We have also participated in programs to donate to capital campaigns for the buildings of our local YMCA and Hundred Nights Shelter.

We partner with Monadnock United Way for their annual fundraising campaign (for over 20 years!). In our Week of Caring employees can participate by making donations, have a technology or bake sale where we donate (and match!) the money to the campaign, and end the week volunteering for a local non-profit.
We’ve volunteered at Cedarcrest Center for Children with DisabilitiesMonadnock Center for Violence PreventionWinchester Learning CenterRise for Baby & FamilyThe Community Kitchen, and many more.

A group of philanthropic Label Experts meet quarterly to determine the best places to donate and/or where to volunteer based on our social responsibility statement. If you are interested in being considered for a donation of funding, labels, or volunteers, please contact us here.

Creating a Welcoming Community—Join Us!
We believe the diversity and inclusiveness of an area is something to be nurtured and consistently improved upon. Not only is it good for business, but it’s also simply the right thing to do.

In January 2023, EIM joined the recently formed Monadnock Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Coalition. Their mission is “to promote and develop the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire as a welcoming and inclusive place for all — including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color individuals who live, work and visit our community. We partner with community members, local businesses, and institutions to promote diversity, create meaningful community engagement, and build a diverse and inclusive foundation for all races, sexual identities, genders, and people with disabilities.” If you are in the Monadnock (NH) region, consider joining us!
