It’s that time of year where all of us at Electronic Imaging Materials look back at our most popular labels of the year. And what a year it has been! We’ve labeled everything from vials holding invasive species, to warehouses of artisan ice cream, to batteries under the hoods of the latest and greatest EV models!

Labels! They’re everywhere, and many of our clients simply couldn’t function without them. We’re very grateful to look back on another year of supporting you by making unique, one-of-a-kind labels that help your business function efficiently and do what you do best.
Let’s dive into this year’s front-runners . . .

- Tamper Evident Labels
Requests for security labeling grew by leaps and bounds in 2025—in fact, made-to-order tamper evident labels were our highest growth market this year! Engineered to show signs of interference when removed or manipulated, security labels are imperative for regulatory compliance (especially in the pharmaceutical sector), consumer trust, supply chain security, and anti-counterfeiting.
What do Tamper Evident Labels do?
• Break, shred, or leave behind patterns (VOID, checkerboard, residue) when they are peeled.
• Enhance product and asset security, while giving consumers a sense of assurance.
• Often used for pharmaceutical products, electronics, high-value goods, and to align with compliance requirements in various industries.

- CryoLabel®
Talk about a deep freeze! Laboratories located from Cambridge to California to Hawaii had us shipping roll after roll of custom CryoLabel®s this year. Designed to withstand long-term storage below –80°C, CryoLabel® gives better readability and adhesion in harsh freezing environments. A go-to for laboratories, these labels stand up to deep freeze, and also handle chemical exposure and moisture damage presented by freeze and thaw cycles. Personally, we think they’re pretty cool!
What can CryoLabel® do?
• Withstand temperatures as low as –196°C/-320.8 °F (liquid nitrogen).
• Made with frost-resistant adhesives that bond to cold, damp, or curved surfaces.
• Remain scannable and stable during freeze–thaw cycles.
• Often used for diagnostic labs, biobanks, medical labs, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies.

- XyResist® Slide Labels
Want crisp, xylene resistant barcode slide labels? XyResist ® did the job for numerous histology and laboratory clients this year. Its resistance to xylene, acetone, and many other chemicals, made them a top choice for labs with slide staining processes. The adhesive used in Electronic Imaging Material’s XyResist ® labels is also formulated to maintain its bond under harsh solvents. The end results? Labels you can read, scan and always rely on in the laboratory.
What does XyResist® do?
• High-durability face stocks withstand scratching and repeated handling.
• Print remains intact during chemical washes and sterilization.
• Often used in histology labs, industrial processing, automotive, and aerospace.

- Cold Temperature Logistics Labels
We made cold temp and freezer labels for clients in every stage of cold chain logistics this year, from warehouse freezers to transport coolers. Temperature sensitive rack labels were in particularly high demand. Cold-temp labels are optimized to adhere when applied in refrigerated or freezer conditions, where standard adhesives typically fail.
What do cold temp labels do?
• Perform during application at temperatures typically between –20°C/68°F and +4°C/39°F
• Designed for consistent adhesion on cold, moist, or textured surfaces.
• Reliable performance across fluctuating cold environments.
• Often used for moisture-resistance, to prevent edge curling or falling off.

- Pallet Labels
Last, but certainly not least, warehouse pallet labels were a popular product in 2025. Designed for easy visibility, pallet labels ensure durable identification throughout shipping and warehouse handling. They can even help reduce shipping errors and improve scanning accuracy when used and applied strategically!
What can Pallet Labels do?
• Our pallet labels are designed to permanently adhere to raw wood and wrapping films, giving you label placement flexibility.
• Large-print barcode formats for long-range scanning.
• Materials are durable; they resist abrasion, humidity, and warehouse conditions.
• Can be removable, permanent, or linerless depending on the needs of the warehouse.
