It is with great excitement that we announce the promotion of a familiar face and long-time employee, Erin Temmen, to the pivotal new role of Sales Manager. Many of our customers know Erin as a dedicated Label Expert, and her journey to this leadership position is a story of passion, perseverance, and a deep commitment to our customers and our team.

Erin’s promotion to Sales Manager marks an exciting new chapter for EIM. In this role, Erin will oversee the leadership of EIM’s sales and customer service teams, with a strategic focus on business growth and strengthening the customer experience that has long defined the company. It’s a responsibility that EIM’s leadership team is confident she is ready for! For Erin, her new role is an opportunity to think bigger. It is about shifting from managing individual accounts to shaping the strategy and culture of the entire sales team, all while staying grounded in the customer-first values that got her here!

Speaking of those customer-first values, let’s talk about Erin’s journey and how she landed in the land of labels! Erin originally joined EIM after a career in wholesale distribution, seeking a new challenge. She found it in the intricate world of labeling! Mastering the nuances of our products, she noted, was a continuous journey. “One small thing can completely change the type of label material I recommend to a customer.” This dedication to deep product knowledge and her enthusiasm for tackling complex projects, particularly the intricate warehouse jobs she enjoys, quickly established her as a go-to expert on our sales team.
Her time as an Account Manager was defined by a desire to find the perfect solution for every challenge. She often found profound meaning in the work, recalling a project with a lab measuring lead levels in schools. “Knowing in a small way that we’re part of that, that we’re helping them facilitate that study in whatever way we can is really meaningful to me,” she shared. This sense of purpose has been a driving force in her work, grounding her in the real-world impact of our labeling solutions.
Erin’s focus is clear: it’s about fostering a culture of support and shared success. While acknowledging the healthy competition that drives any great sales team, she is passionate about creating an environment where “we are all working towards the same goal.” Her vision is one of open communication, shared knowledge, and mutual support, ensuring the team feels heard, valued, and empowered to succeed.
This philosophy is deeply rooted in her own experience. A self-described “lifelong learner,” Erin is committed to her own growth as a leader and is dedicated to providing the team with the resources and support they need to excel.

Anyone who knows Erin knows her love for the outdoors. An avid hiker who has conquered New Hampshire’s 48 4,000-footers, she sees a clear parallel between tackling a challenging mountain and navigating the complexities of sales. It’s about breaking down an overwhelming goal into manageable steps, maintaining endurance, and, most importantly, remembering the purpose that drives you forward. “You just have to keep going,” she says. “You can’t get overwhelmed thinking about the entire duration of your trip.”

It’s about building trust through honesty, finding the right path forward even when it’s difficult, and leading with a quiet confidence that inspires the entire team.
