See EIM at the ASHG 2013 Meeting!

If you are not already aware, this year the ASHG Annual Meeting is being held in Boston, MA. This event consists of not only ASHG committee meetings, as well as education, trainee, clinical-related and social events but also a large exhibit venue.  For tradeshow attendees, tradeshows can be powerful educational and networking opportunities, and they’re also a terrific way to keep up-to-date with current or emerging products and trends. At tradeshows you get to talk with professionals well-established in your industry or field. Face-to-face interaction is far better than email and telephone communication as it often helps develop stronger relationships.

“The ASHG Annual Meeting is the largest human genetics meeting and exposition in the world. This year’s meeting is expected to attract over 6,500 scientific attendees, plus nearly 200 exhibiting companies. ASHG members and leading scientists from around the world are selected to present their research findings at invited, platform, and poster sessions.”¹

You may say you just don’t have time to attend a tradeshow like this, but the truth be known—you really can’t afford NOT to go! Where else can you see the widest range of products and services in one place, at one time? Much like the saying “you have to spend money, to make money”… you need to MAKE time, to SAVE time—especially if you are faced with a new investment decision or need to make a change to your process. Here are the Top 10 Reasons You Should Attend the ASHG Boston show.

EIM would like to invite you to the ASHG show running October 23 to October 26, 2013 and hope you will stop by our Booth #818! EIM is thrilled to be among so many professionals devoted to enhancing human genetics research, teaching, and consultation. Many people going to a show like this may not be thinking about labels or barcoding, but they are tremendously appropriate and invaluable tools for genetics.

One of the main reasons we are going to the ASHG Boston is to show you how well-rounded our CryoLabel® line of products has become. With 26+ years of experience in cryogenic labeling, we have found there is a tremendous variety of unique applications for cryogenic storage and we have products for all of them! Our extreme cold temperature materials are specifically engineered to work on vials and tight diameter test tubes, as well as plates, metal racks and cardboard storage containers in both -80°C freezers and liquid nitrogen. We even have two NEW CryoLabel® materials that will let you color code your samples, and one of them is perfect for labeling pre-frozen containers.

We often hear that barcoding is thought to be complicated and time consuming – which couldn’t be further from the truth. Barcodes are designed to reduce errors and save time! We would like to put some minds at ease and show you just how easy it is to add barcodes to your testing processes thanks to our recently expanded range of economical QuickStart Printing Systems based around our NEW LINE of TSC label printers.

Lastly, we want our customers to know that we have some of the best service and support in the barcode industry. We hear all too many complaints about some of our competitors and their customer service—we simply aren’t like that!! You don’t have to wait to get a human on the phone or get dumped into a voice message when you call us. And we don’t leave you hanging after we’ve made the sale. We are there for you for the long run… making your work easier and more effective. Simply put—you can rely on EIM!

We hope to see you at the ASHG show. If you just can’t make it but would like to know more our CryoLabel® products and services, just let us know.
