We are honored to accept the Outstanding Service Award from the Keene State College Alumni Association for our work with Keene State interns, students, and faculty! The Outstanding Service Award, presented annually since 1986, is given to an individual or organization that provides outstanding service to Keene State College through leadership, commitment, and influence in programs and activities of the College. The alumni committee that selected EIM for the award wrote,

The Alumni Association recognizes the time and dedication Electronic Imaging has invested in Keene State College students and their career preparation. EIM have hosted numerous paid interns some of which have led to full-time employment, developed, and supported students in classroom projects, provided resume and mock interview practice, and presented in the Career Speaker Series. EIM has always and continues to be a dedicated supporter of KSC and our students. The Alumni Association acknowledges your efforts to support our students, provide them with internships and employment opportunities.

We are fortunate our proximity to KSC (just six miles!) allows us to work closely with both faculty and students. Whether we are offering paid internships to students, providing real-world business scenarios for classroom projects, or assisting alumni with their own business ventures, our relationship with Keene State College has always been rewarding.

Keene State Interns

We work with our Keene State interns for a semester or more in various paid roles within our company. We aim to provide interns with real world experience that they can take with them as they pursue their careers, some of which are with EIM! We currently employ several Keene State alumni in permanent positions across multiple departments and enjoy the opportunity to offer full-time roles to Keene State interns upon graduation.

Currently in 2022, we have two Keene State interns that are actively participating in paid internship roles within the Sales and Products & Innovation departments (and we are about to add an intern in the Marketing department!).

Classroom Projects

In addition to internships, we collaborate with Keene State professors inside the classroom, by presenting real world scenarios to students for projects. Earlier this year KSC students from a Math Modeling and Computing class used EIM as the subject of a project. The students used skills learned in class to predict future sales for EIM and presented their results to classmates. Their project also created useful insights into our data for the EIM Sales department!

We approach our work with Keene State College knowing that relationships flourish when both sides gain something from one another. “Long Lasting Relationships” and “Dedicated Community Involvement” are part of our company’s core values. We are fortunate to have Keene State College and their students as members of our community. They not only allow us to fulfill our values, but carry them out in their own actions as well.
