Contact an actual personBar code labels need to remain clear and easily readable even under the toughest of conditions in order to be properly scanned. Some labels perform better in the lab processes than others. Below we have listed some of our popular CryoLabel® materials with some of their characteristics and features. We highly recommend testing these materials in your own process to make sure they will properly fit your needs. 667 – White CryoLabel® Plastic (TT)
Cold-temp film that can be preprinted with color bars & logos.
Works well on small diameter polypropylene tubes. Does not adhere well to metal.
Adhesive: Minimum Application Temp:
Permanent Acrylic -10°F (-23°C)
Recommended Print Ribbons: Service Temp Range:
T96, T68 Resin LN² to 200°F (-196°C to  93°C)

 

651 – White CryoLabel® Plastic (TT)
Flexible film with great moisture, chemical & solvent resistance, Handles cold temperatures very well.
Perfect for labeling metal surfaces such as cryogenic storage racks.
Adhesive: Minimum Application Temp:
Permanent Acrylic -10°F (-23°C)
Recommended Print Ribbons: Service Temp Range:
T44, T66, T96 -65°F to 200°F (-54°C to 93°C)

 

685 – Clear CryoLabel® Plastic (TT)
Flexible film with a high-tack, glove-friendly adhesive that handles cryogenic conditions. A print block lets you add barcodes & HRI.
This wraps easily around small tubes & back over the printed area for extra protection, while letting you see tube contents.
Adhesive: Minimum Application Temp:
Permanent Acrylic 35°F (2°C)
Recommended Print Ribbons: Service Temp Range:
T96 on White Block, T68 on Silver LN² to 120°F (-196°C to 49°C)

 

686 – White CryoLabel® Frost Polyester (TT)
Flexible thin but tough film for wrapping around test tubes. Has smooth finish for high resolution full color printing. Very water, scratch, chemical & solvent resistant.
This special product works on frozen tubes, in both freezers & LN2. It is also good for autoclave, incubation & boiling water processes.

Permanent Acrylic 10°F (-12°C)
Recommended Print Ribbons: Service Temp Range:
T68, T84, T80 LN² to 120°F (-196°C to 49°C)

 

687 – Clear CryoLabel® Frost Polyester (TT)
Clear film to wrap around test tubes & over printed data; lets you see tube contents. Good for high quality full-color printing. Water, scratch, chemical & solvent resistant.
Like White CryoLabel® Frost, works on frozen tubes, in freezers, LN2, autoclave, incubation & boiling water processes.
Adhesive: Minimum Application Temp:
Permanent Acrylic 10°F (-12°C)
Recommended Print Ribbons: Service Temp Range:
T68, T84, T80 LN2 /-321°F to 196°C to 250°F (121°C)

 

264 – White CryoLabel® Plastic (DT)
A special film that comes with the same adhesive used on our 685 CryoLabel®.
A good cryogenic labeling option for ribbonless direct thermal printing. Useful for HIPAA.
