CryoLabel® White Plastic Labels are very conformable and work well on tight diameter plastic test tubes and vials. They are designed to handle the extremely cold storage temperatures found in genetics, virology, microbiology and other related fields; they also work in gamma radiation & ethylene oxide (ETO) procedures. They resist moisture, scratching, smudging, and tearing and hold up to alcohol and other chemicals.
We recommend placing labels along the length of cryo tubes whenever possible; this is also the best way to scan 1D barcodes. If you need to wrap labels around the circumference of tubes, then you will probably want to use 2D barcodes; we suggest you choose a label long enough so you can overlap the ends of the label at least one eighth (1/8th) of an inch.
